July 29-31, 2010 - We are taking a church trip to the Creation Museum in Cincinnati, Ohio. We will be leaving on Thursday the 29th and returning on Saturday the 31th.
August 22, 2010 - Immediately following Worship, there will be a training session for those working in Jr. Church and the workers for the outreach on the 28th.
August 28, 2010 - Community Outreach effort: This event will be for kids! We will be inviting the community through postcards. The day will be filled with games, food and puppet shows. Please start bringing cans of soda and bottles of water; later we will add other food items.
August 29, 2010 - We will be starting a Jr. Church program for children in 6th grade and under. Brother Dave and Terry Schroeder will be organizing this program.
September 8, 2010 - At 6:30 p.m., Brother Don will be leading a program of "Financial Peace" by David Ramsey.
September 12, 2010 - Following the Worship service, we will be gathering at Lost Valley Lake Resort for a time of fellowship. (More details later.)
September 25, 2010 - The Daughters of Light of Leslie Baptist Church will be hosting a scrapbook fundraiser. It will be from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Franklin County Baptist Association Building in St. Clair. The admission fee is $40 per person and includes meals, snacks, personal cropping space and raffle prizes. Half-days are available for $25. To reserve a spot, payment must be made by September 10, 2010! - The money made from this event will be donated to help Gladys Williams of Malawi, Africa and her children.
