Men's Work Day (June 2010) - After weeks of planning and conspiring with Tim's wife, the men of Leslie Baptist gathered together at the Hays' household to surprise Tim with a work day! The goal: to put up a 26' x 32' shed. Imagine Tim's surprise when all the guys met at his house for the work day rather than at the church as he expected!
Mother's Day 2010 - Leslie Baptist celebrated Mother's Day 2010 with a three-course meal for the ladies. The men worked together to prepare and serve the meal while the ladies enjoyed a Mother's Day skit, poems, stories and fellowship!
Easter Sunday 2010 - Leslie Baptist Church celebrated Easter Sunday 2010 with a free breakfast for the community followed by an Easter egg hunt for the kids, a musical performance by the choir, a baptism and a special sermon from Pastor Chuck Tedrow.
God's Plan for Salvation (G.P.S.) - In March of 2010, the congregation of Leslie Baptist gathered together to prepare over 1,000 mail-outs and door-hangers in order to spread the gospel to the communities of Leslie, Gerald and Beaufort.
Valentine's Day 2010 - Leslie Baptist Church celebrated Valentine's Day by hosting a Sweetheart Banquet Fiesta!
Sunday School Skating Party - On January 12, 2010, all the Sunday school classes got together at Skaterz Skate Park in Union, MO for a skating party!
Christmas Cantata 2009 - On December 13, 2009, the Leslie Baptist Church choir performed a Christmas Cantata titled "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year". Months of practice went into the production and it was truly a blessing to spend so much time together in love, laughter and fellowship!
Sunday School Skit - On December 13, 2009, our Sunday school children got to perform in a skit in which several baby animals gather together in a stable to hear Uncle Buck (a donkey) tell them the story of Christmas.
